Feeling a little clogged???

Having gutter drainage issues can be a bigger problem than you think.  Over time your gutters can become clogged with various materials such as leaves, twigs, nests from little flying critters, kids toys being "accidentally" thrown onto the roof and never making it back to the ground, or my personal favorite objects being shoved up a downspout!

With all the perils that our gutters can go through it's no surprise that many people end up with gutters that are not functioning properly.  The danger in this is stagnant water can sit in your gutters and that can be an automatic breeding ground for pests such as cockroaches, ants, and flies.  These pesky little insects will have access to attic crawlspace and can even make their way inside your home. Yuck!

Another issue that can be much more damaging and costly is damage to your eaves and fascia.  Stagnant water sitting in gutters can rot both the eaves and fascia and even cause roof damage thus exposing your home to the elements. Rotting fascia will also cause your gutters to sag due to the weight of the offending cloggage. Slow running water due to clogs in gutters can also cause water to pool around your foundation causing weakening and cracking.

Gutter guards can be an affordable investment to add to your home that can prevent and protect it from such damages. We offer many different types of gutter guards that can be utilized for the type of protection you need whether you have a few trees or many trees.

We at Christian Family Guttering recommend getting your gutters cleaned every spring and fall or more often depending on how many trees are located near your home.  Call us today for a free estimate and competitive gutter cleaning and gutter guard quote.  Help us keep one of your most important investments safe from unwanted guests and unnecessary and wallet draining repairs!
